Bassist, composer, vagabond, CJ Boyd uses low-end loops and voices in order to try and stop time. On perpetual tour since March 2008, movement and stasis are both at the center of his music. Though solo performance takes up the bulk of his time and effort, he also plays in the bands Desert Center, Kurva Choir, Rhonya, and Move. His non-stop travels between North America and Europe have been propelled by vans, cars, trains, buses, planes, and boats, but most of all a commitment to ceaseless discovery and re-invention. His oceanic sounds provide a home for the homeless and journeys to the homebound.

The brainchild of Wes Meadows (Flowerpot Records, All Over The Place) this project consists of many diverse and distant (or close by) collaborators who exchange audio recordings, video art, and jam together. This is on the more experimental side of Flowerpot Records' offerings. Expect some ambient sounds, field recordings, and noise, but also expect post-rock Explosions In The Sky types of riffs.

The solo project of Alec Schumann (Half an Animal) funnels Alec's talent into an intense and powerful synth and drum focused whirlwind. If you are familiar with Alec's incredible percussion skills (as seen at HAA's most recent Hive Mind performance which included some mindblowing drum solos and performance work) you will be delighted to find that his synth work (and vocals! and antics!) are just as amazing.
